Description
Billet Aluminum Valve Cover with built in neoprene seal.
It has long been an issue for oil leaks to be generated by poorly cast aluminum used in the manufacturing process of rocker covers. These oil leaks are caused by the porosity of the cast material, by using a solid billet of aluminum these porosity areas no longer exist eradicating the problem.
Another issue that is commonly found on other rocker covers is that the neck of the oil cap does not create a sufficient seal resulting in oil being leaked onto the cover itself. This cover however incorporates a screw-in neck which enables a seal between the cover and neck to be generated, this in turn removes the annoyance of constantly mopping up oil residue. Also by using a one piece billet alloy to manufacture the rocker cover it enables a high quality external finish that incorporates no blemishes or marks which are commonly found on cast rocker covers.
