SSL 5L Five Link (was once branded SUPLEX).
This sophisticated system replaces the leaf springs with five links and coil springs and dampers. This provides a much improved ride and a very significant improvement in handling especially for the more powerful cars such as the Plus8. The system allows all the power of the Plus8 go to the road with no axle tramp nor windup. The springs are progressive to better carry luggage and respond to the bigger bump and potholes. The dampers are adjustable form ‘soft’ for gentle tours to ‘firm’ for more assertive driving. Over one hundred sold.
